It’s all Colette’s fault.

As soon as Colette was born into our lives, everything shifted. Suddenly, it became essential for us to establish a stable home life in every way. We found ourselves looking into new revenue sources that would allow Dan to travel less for work. While I’ve been fortunate to do most of my work from my phone and computer, I wanted to solidify that aspect of my life so I could remain a stay-at-home mom while still contributing financially to our family.

Then we found Stoney Horse Acres.

We searched for nearly a year (thank you to Heather and Merrell, our real estate agent and mortgage lender, for all your patience and help). When we found this property, we knew the search was finally over! This 16-acre paradise has been a dream come true! Even though it’s a little old and outdated, we immediately saw the potential.

It will all be worth it (we hope!)

We are both working extremely hard to start this new business while maintaining our other companies. However, it is not our first rodeo. The start-up phase can be extremely taxing physically, emotionally, and financially. But we know there is light at the end of the tunnel. There is also something truly satisfying, refreshing, and exciting about a new business venture. We are taking it one day at a time and doing our best to turn this property into something we can be proud of for generations.
