I'm a first time customer. How do I set up my first booking?
Ready to get started? Click any "Meet-and-Greet" button and follow the steps—it’s that easy! Meet-and-greets are free and the first step to onboarding your furry family :)
Alternately, you can book a paid daycare session to bypass the meet and greet. After a successful first day of playing, your dog will be given access to booking boarding reservations.
Scared your needed boarding dates will disappear before your meet-and-greet? You can book your boarding dates and pay the 50% deposit to hold the dates. If either of us decides this isn’t the paw-fect fit, your reservation will be canceled and your deposit refunded.
If you have any questions or need help, please call, text, or email :)

What is a meet and greet?
Think of the meet-and-greet as a VIP tour for you and your pup! 🐾 You’ll get to check out our setup while we meet, chat, and make sure everyone feels comfy and confident before the first stay. We’ll also create a detailed care profile for your dog(s) so we’re fully prepped to pamper them.
Prefer an in-person visit or a FaceTime call? The choice is yours! This is required before your first overnight boarding reservation. Best of all, it’s free and usually takes just 30 minutes per pet! 🎉
-
How much does it cost?
Our fan-favorite luxury suite is just $35 per night to start. Heads up: holiday rates might shake things up a bit!
We have other boarding options for dog’s that have been approved for slumber party and/or family dog discounts.

Extended Care
Nightly rates are based on a 24-hour time period from drop-off to pick-up. If the end time on the final day of the stay is more than 2 hours later than the start time on the first day of the stay, the following extended care rates may apply for each pet on the booking.
2-8 additional hours: +50% of the nightly rate.
8+ additional hours: +100% of the nightly rate.
This is the same pricing model as Rover. However, it is not automatically added to your initial subtotal. It will be charged on your final bill only if applicable.
-
When do I pay? What if I need to cancel?
When you book, you’ll pay a 50% deposit to lock in your reservation.
The rest of the bill? That’s taken care of on pick-up day, along with any extended care charges, if needed.
Plans change? No worries! Cancel three or more days in advance, and your deposit will be 100% refunded—no strings attached. 🐾
-
Are vaccines required? Spay/Nueter?
Yes, rabies and distemper are a must—no ifs, ands, or barks about it!
Bordetella (aka the kennel cough vaccine) is highly recommended but not required. HOWEVER, if your pup gets a Bordetella shot, they’ll need to wait two weeks before they can come visit us. So, plan that vaccine like a pro to keep your boarding schedule smooth and stress-free! 🐾
Vet-prescribed flea & tick medication is required.
https://humanesc.org/register/ is a fantastic local vaccination provider for those on a budget. They are drive-through style, which adds to the convenience!
All dogs over the age of 8 months must be spayed or neutered. Exceptions may be considered with a vet’s recommendation; however, these dogs will not be eligible to participate in group play.

A Little Window of Time, Paw-lease! 🐾
Hey there, friends! Just a friendly reminder to be kind to my 11 AM to 3 PM time slot. I carefully plan my days to squeeze in all my personal appointments and responsibilities during this window—think of it as my power hour(s) of productivity!
This job is a full-on, seven-days-a-week adventure, and many of these precious hours are already spoken for by sudsy dog baths, puppy walks, and doggy playtime outside. 🛁🐶
Your cooperation helps keep everything running smoothly. Thanks so much for your understanding—I appreciate you all! 😊✨

What should I bring?
Here’s your packing checklist for your pup’s staycation! Don’t forget:
Food (plus a little extra—just in case your trip runs long)
Meds (if needed)
Leash
Added adventure walks? Toss in a harness too!
We’ve got everything else covered—it’s an all-inclusive experience for your furry friend! 🐾
Want to pack a little extra comfort? Feel free to bring your pup’s favorite bed, blanket, treats, or toys! Just skip the basic metal food and water bowls—they tend to play hide-and-seek in our supply cabinet and might not make it home. But if you’ve got slow feeders or special dishes, bring those along if you’d like. 😊
-
Where will my dog sleep?
It all depends on which booking option you’ve picked! Our fan-favorite is the luxury suite (check out the pic above), complete with a private indoor kennel that feels more like a cozy room. These kennels are spacious, ranging from 5’x5’ to 8’x8’. 🏰
If your dog cannot be trusted to not chew and destroy things in the luxury suite, they will sleep and eat in a standard dog crate.
For exceptionally well-behaved dogs, we offer a slumber party option—no crate or kennel in sight, just pure lounging fun! Plus, we have a family dog option where your pup gets to sleep in our bedroom. 😴
A heads-up: the slumber party and family dog options aren’t available for every dog. If the price for those looks a little wild, it’s probably because your dog hasn’t been given the VIP membership access to those options. 😉
-
Are all and any dogs allowed to attend?
No. We have a few requirements for acceptance into the pack.
Up-to-Date Vet Records
Your pup needs current vet records with all vaccinations done at least two weeks before arrival. This keeps everyone safe and healthy.Spay/Neuter for Dogs Over 8 Months
For the well-being of the pack, dogs older than eight months must be spayed or neutered.Friendly and Gentle Behavior
Your dog should love playing with other dogs and show no signs of aggression. Any aggressive behavior means your dog will have to spend most of its time in the kennel instead of joining the fun.Barking Guidelines
We enjoy a happy bark here or there, but if your dog barks excessively, they can only stay under certain circumstances.Occasional barks (like when someone knocks on the door) are okay.
Persistent barking disrupts the calm for other dogs, our family, and neighbors.
We can discuss and work together on the best option for your dog.
More details are provided on another FAQ card.
No Fence-Jumping or Climbing
For safety reasons, dogs that jump or climb fences are not allowed to stay.Stair Navigation is a Must
Our home has two levels, and dogs typically go up and down stairs several times a day. If your dog isn’t comfortable with stairs, our setup might not be the best match. -
What if my dog doesn't play well with others?
If your pup shows any of the following behaviors, they’ll have to skip the group play sessions:
Dog reactivity
Resource guarding
Food aggression
Humping
Aggression
Or any behaviors that could put their safety—or the safety of others—at risk.
If group play isn’t the right fit they'll spend more time in their cozy kennel. 🐾 Just make sure they’re cool with the kennel life—calm and comfy is the key! If your dog is a barker or crybaby while kenneled, they won’t be able to return for a second visit.
If your dog cannot participate in group play, please consider adding extra activities for them.

What if my dog barks excessively?
We enjoy a happy bark, but it's considered excessive if your dog barks non-stop for 10 to 15 minutes (or more) without calming down.
Occasional barks (like when someone knocks on the door) are okay.
Persistent barking disrupts the calm for other dogs, our team, and neighbors.
Solutions for Excessive Barkers
Medication for Stress-Related Barking:
Some clients have found that using vet-prescribed Trazodone helps calm dogs that bark excessively due to separation anxiety or other stress factors.Collar Solutions:
Other pet parents have had success with high-quality vibration or spray collars. These devices are triggered by the dog's neck vibration (rather than sound) to prevent accidental activation when nearby dogs bark.Trial Stay Opportunity:
We've seen dogs known for barking under previous sitters naturally thrive in our care (without a collar or medications). If you're unsure about your dog's behavior, we can arrange a short-stay trial before committing to longer stays. Some dogs that bark excessively may thrive in our doogy-slumber-party or family-dog boarding options.Bark Training:
Training your dog to minimize barking is another effective approach. There are several methods depending on the triggers, but a key principle is to ignore unwanted barking and reward quiet behavior—never reinforcing the barking with attention.Alternative Boarding Options:
If your dog is an excessive barker and you are not interested in any of the above solutions, a commercial kennel might be a better fit. In those settings, where owners are not on-site, dogs are allowed to bark as much as they want all night.
