From Frost to Fetch
Riley’s guarding his treasures
Despite the cold weather, it was another joyful day here at Stoney Horse Acres, with plenty of wagging tails and playful energy. Riley, ever the entertainer, spent the afternoon proudly showing off his favorite red chew toy, gnawing away with determination. Watching him lounge in the yard afterward, surrounded by sticks and other treasures, was a reminder of how simple joys can make a dog’s day.
The dogs all played in their own unique ways
Ryley and Riley kept things lively with a bit of friendly competition over who could fetch the most toys. Their playful rivalry brought plenty of excitement to the day, with each trying to outdo the other. Meanwhile, Apollo spent most of his time chasing and tormenting his sister Leia, keeping everyone entertained with their sibling antics.
Harper enjoys some yard time too
Harper joined in the fun, enjoying the sunshine and the chance to run around freely. Whether it was chasing each other or simply relaxing in the yard, every dog found a way to make the most of the day.
The horses were feeling their oats
Meanwhile, in the early hours of the morning, Bentley and Vixen were truly feeling their oats. With frost still covering the ground, the two horses took advantage of the chilly air, running and bucking across the pasture. Their spirited energy added to the beauty of the crisp morning scene.
Welcome Jack!
We also welcomed Jack for a two-week stay. His mom signed him up for the V.I.D. Family Dog package, which means he’ll be spending his nights in my bedroom alongside our family dog, Mango. She added other perks that we will share throughout his stay.
These are the moments we cherish—happy dogs and lively horses enjoying life to the fullest at Stoney Horse Acres.
We can't wait for more days like today with our playful four-legged visitors!
